After starting benicar I developed symptoms similar to roscea of the eye. I have read that certain combinations of cholesterol meds combined with Benicar (ace inhibitors) may cause eye problems sililar to what I am experiencing.

My husband has had triple heart bypass, an implanted defriallator
and pacemaker. He take coreg and a few months ago was put
on beta breaker Amilodipine. He started out with 2.5 and did okthen he was encoraged to go 5. after which he got so he could notbreathe, could not walk more than a few steps without
extreme inability to get his breath. Just became inactive and slept a lot. He personally cut back to half dose of 2.5 and is doing better with activity. What is the advantage of just sitting
and taking this medication or being up and walking and getting
some exercise. This medication is of great concern, because it
seems he should be feeling better on it but doesn’t at all.
He is 86 years old. Please respond and tell us if the effect of
this medication is wrong for him under these circumstances
and what would happen if he gradually went off Amilodipine

I’m from Vietnam. I was inoculated first Verorab rabies vaccine (made from France) 5 days ago. My doctor asked me not to use corticosteroid drugs because it may lead to immunodeficiency, vaccination failure. Meanwhile I have used Seretide (an asthma spray drug which contains about 250 mcg fluticasione propionate/120 sprays) for 6 months. Although I tried change other asthma drugs but I can’t stop using Seretide. One other doctor said me that Seretide mostly affected on the spot, seldom caused systemic corticosteroids effects. So I still use it twice a day. Anyway I’m still very puzzled whether Seretide is harmful or not? I heard that some kinds of vaccine contains both inactivated virus and activated virus. How does Verorab contain activated rabies virus? May Verorab vaccine cause rabies for vaccinator (like me) who is in immunodeficiency (does seretide made this because of using it for a long time)? I am obsessed seriously by my case. Please answer my questions. Thanks in advance!
