What are the effective antibiotics that can control infections and abscesses caused by staphylococcus aures?… by nrgound
Staphylococcus aures do not succumb sometimes to the intravenous applications of many antibiotics.
bacterial infection consists of countless individual bacteria. Most infections caused by S. aureus are treatable with antibiotics. However, there is a strong possibility that a few bacteria will survive a course of antibiotics, perhaps due to gene mutation. The antibiotic-resistant S. aureus bacteria that remain then flourish, since they no longer have to compete for resources with the rest of the colony.
Before antibiotics, a severe infection was fatal for many people. Penicillin was effective in treating S. aureus until the bacterium became resistant. Throughout the second half of the 20th century, new antibiotics such as methicillin and vancomycin were developed, which successfully treated S. aureus infections.
Methicillin-resistant strains of S. aureus evolved in the 1970s and have troubled hospitals worldwide with persistent infections in patients.Give good antibiotics list
Best Answer:
Huh? This sounds suspiciously like a school assignment.
Garden variety S. aureus is easily treatable by antibiotics. The proper choice can range from penicillin to Fortaz. It depends on the patient, the risk factors, and the site of the infection.

Is there any way to permenently remove hair other then a laser?… by J
I would think there has to be a way to use some type of cream to destroy follicles? Why hasn't anyone come up with one? It's kind of like the cure for the common cold in my opinion. It seems so easy, yet there is no way to do it.
Best Answer:
sorry there is actually nothing that can permanently remove hair.
(i hate mine!)
There are prescription pills that help diminish hair growth such as Spironolactone and Tagamet. Spironolactone, is a diuretic. But it is effective and can help cut down on acne due to excessive testosterone levels as well. Tagamet, a drug used for ulcers, also helps cut down on hair growth. Both are prescription drugs and you need to discuss these options with your dermatologist. Neither medication makes the hair fall out, so you do have to remove the hair until you start to see results.
A new prescription drug called Vaniqa helps prevent hair growth in the first place. It

MedicineNet.com – Exercises for Graceful Aging
The most important thing is that we remain active as we get older, with aerobic exercise, and also exercises like Tai Chi and yoga, things that improve balance. We want to be physically active in our daily life, and remain active in our heads so we don't feel dependent on other people. Resistance exercise is great for the elderly, as well as balance exercises. Walking activities are important because your heart gets stronger as you continue to practice. Aerobics can even decrease the onset of Alzheimer's so it's working in the brain as well.College Girl in need of Help!?… by TaurusChick
okay,
so i know that during menstration, cramps are sometimes involved. But mine are very severe. I've tried Midol to help calm them down. I did work for a while, but then I guess my body became accustomed to it, the cramps became stronger. They are so painful, I even faint sometimes. (which scares me)
the pains usually last for 1-5 hours and they make my thighs kind of numb. Im going to college in the fall of 07' and I need something that will work so that I can use through out college.
I don't want to be sitting on a desk and in a moment I feel like the women on T.V. giving birth (never had a child) or passing out. Is there anything out there? PLease help me!!!!
I was asked to go on the pill, but I was scared because my mother was on it years ago after my second brother was born. She stoped and said that now that she has wants to have another kid, she cant because of all the times she had taken the pill. I want to have kids in the FAR future, will this affect me?
Best Answer:
I recommend taking the Pill. My period used to be so… incredibly.. bad. I couldn't eat, I couldn't even move. I'd miss so much school. At least the first 2 days of every period to be exact. I tried Midol.. never worked. If you don't want to get on the pill (it's not so bad.. today they're getting better and better. I use Zovia or Kelnor. It's a really good one) But if you're afraid to use the pill, ask your gyno about Anaprox. It's a lovely muscle relaxer. I got it w/out having to get checked by the doctor. However, when my prescription ran out, I had to get checked. Anyway, if you're afraid to use that, then you can use Aleve. That's what i use now. I'm on the pill, but i still have some annoying cramps every once in a while. So, i'll take some Aleve, and use a heating pad. I'll just fall asleep, and when i wake up i feel much better.
If you don't have a heating pad, you can use a bottle of hot water with a towel wrapped around it, or if you have to get up and go, get some of those things that warm when you open them. You can stick them on the inside of your pants/underwear, and they'll stay warm for quite some time.
